Fey of Fire

The third piece in my concentration. I took a photo of one my friends last year with all her theatre make-up on, and I loved the effect, so I decided to paint it.
I used oils, my favorite media, although they do literaly take forever to dry.
I adore this painting, and its one of my favorites.....and I still gave it away........*tear*

It wouldn't have done the girl justice if I had not added in a few fanatsy elements in the painting. And if you knew her like I do, you would understand......

Eh, reality sucks anyhow. And artists are the biggest liars when it comes between reality and illusions.
